Starting the Solar journey can be a little daunting. There is lots to consider and lots to understand. Output, Paybacks, Invertors and the even the direction of your home. We aim to make the journey as easy as possible including the application for SEAI Solar Energy Grants.
As part of the Grant process and the journey to Solar, it is good to understand your home’s current energy rating. The standard in Ireland is the Building Energy Rating or commonly known as BER.
Our new partnership with 2eva will mean that we can organise a BER survey as part of your journey to Solar Energy.
A member of the 2eva team of assessors will make arrangements to inspect your property and perform the survey.
This survey is a detailed energy assessment of the property. The details from this survey are then reviewed and the relevant calculations completed. We will then be in a position to issue the BER certificates for your building as part of your SEAI Grant application process.

The BER certificate will quantify the energy use for space heating, water heating, ventilation, and lighting calculated on the basis of standard occupancy.
