Michael is a homeowner in County Kilkenny. He was in search of a power source that would be suitable to power his detached home while also having the option to redirect any extra electricity generated to his water tanks. Our Pinergy Solar Electric experts made a visit to Michael’s home to complete a site assessment. Meeting with Michael to understand his needs, it was recommended that Michael have his array of panels fitted around the Velux windows to the rear of his home. The system installed was combined with a SMA inverter and Immersun diverter which allow for excess electricity generated by the panels to be sent to the two hot water tanks in Michael’s property. The My Immersun app gives real-time information about the system output and savings made, adding to the fun for Michael who is a bit of an eco-warrior with a hybrid car and electric bike.
